Gabriel Shalom is a videomusician, art director, producer and media theorist living and working in Berlin, Germany. He writes a blog about the future of cinema where he attempts to articulate a new movement in aesthetics called Hypercubism. His video art takes the form of rhythmically edited audiovisual compositions. He is the co-founder of KS12, a boutique creative studio which produces projects such as Postcards from Berlin, a participatory storytelling project, as well as servicing clients in arts and culture. Since Spring 2009 he is adjunct faculty at the Berliner Technische Kunsthochschule where he lectures on film, audiovisual performance, video art and motion graphics.
