My creative practice is transdisciplinary and multidimensional.
In my artistic work I explore themes of temporal multiplicity, compression, object-orientation and simulation in both digital and analog media.
In my directorial work I craft stories from fragments of reality using design as a vehicle for speculative realism, blurring the boundaries between fact and fiction.
In my musical work I sample and arrange the sounds of objects, dancers, situations and instruments into audiovisual spectacles.
In my theoretical work I write and speak about my positions on aesthetics, technology, identity, design, and the future.

I was profiled by French Vogue for my documentary work and I was the recipient of the ADC Young Guns award, an honor shared by the likes of Stefan Sagmeister and Golan Levin. I have a degree in film and electronic arts from Bard College. I created a documentary feature about instrument inventors as my senior thesis under the guidance of Peggy Ahwesh. During two years of graduate level studies at the HfG Karlsruhe / ZKM my mentors were video artists Woody and Steina Vasulka, Romanian new wave author Răzvan Rădulescu, designer/architect Fiona Raby and animator François Chalet. My studio practice developed from 2008 - 2015 in Berlin, Germany with exhibitions and screenings throughout Europe. In my documentary work I have had the privilege to interview over 100 people including author Bruce Sterling, artists Rafaël Rozendaal, Protey Temen and Aaron Koblin, and filmmakers Reynold Reynolds and Vincent Moon.
I am interested in creating nuanced and sophisticated audiovisual experiences, both in the context of exhibitions and events. My practice is equally at home in a multidisciplinary design environment or a contemporary art space. I also love working on creative briefs for creative directors and art directors who have clients that are ready to take risks on branded content. And I’m always interested to participate in cultural discourse at festivals, conferences or institutions as either a keynote speaker, guest lecturer or panelist.
If that sounds relevant to your work I’d love to hear from you and talk about how we could collaborate – so please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
